License Classes

Cloud Device Licenses are divided into two main classes: PRO Class License and Service Class License the upgrade FW will postpond to maintenance window..

PRO Class License

The PRO Class License provides advanced professional features for each device category.

Available license types include:

Pro License

Supports full professional features for:

• Access Points (ECW series)

• Switches (ECS series)

• Gateways (ESG series)

• PDUs (ECP series)

• Cameras (ECC series)

• Switch Extender (EXT series)

Pro-Lite License

Streamlined version of the Pro License, specifically designed for Lite-series products:

• ECW-Lite series (e.g., ECW210L)

• ECS-Lite series (e.g., ECS205L)

Service Class License

The Service Class provides specialized service features for specific device categories. These Service class licenses operate independently from PRO Class Licenses — there is no functional dependency between the two.

Available Service Class license types include:

SecuPoint VPN Client License

• Expands the number of SecuPoint user seats on EnGenius Gateway(ESG series), enabling more SSL VPN connections for secure remote access.

• There is no dependency between the PRO License (GW-PRO License) and the Service License (SecuPoint VPN Client License) when bound to the same device.

• Even if the PRO License expires, the expanded SecuPoint VPN user seats will continue to function normally.

Unlimited AI License

• Binds to a single camera to provide unlimited AI tokens for advanced AI contextual video analytics during the license validity period.

When a camera is bound to a valid Unlimited AI License, it will NOT consume Shared AI Tokens from the organization-based Shared AI License during AI contextual video analytics.

• There is no dependency between the PRO License (GW-PRO License) and the Service License (Unlimited AI License) when bound to the same device.

• Even if the PRO License expires, the Cloud AI Contextual Analysis features will continue to function normally.

• Ideal for: Critical single-camera deployments with high AI detection demand (e.g., retail or healthcare).
