Registering Devices to Organization

Register a device to EnGenius FitController inventory by using the serial number from FitController-compatible device:

Get serial number

To get serial number from FitController-compatible device, user can check the device status page from local web GUI of AP.

Users will find new formatted serial number on the page and this new s/n is needed to register the device in FitController.

Registering a device

• Manually register by Serial Number

  • Go to the FitController Inventory page.

  • Add device to inventory like EnGenius Cloud. (with the new serial number as shown above)

• Auto-detect and approve manually

  • Go to inventory page and check devices that are still waiting for approval.
