Camera Footage backup to NAS
EnGenius Cameras can record footage to NAS for longer days and benefit from its RAID redundancy. Cameras do not stop recording in it. Both storages do their retentions independently.
you can access this page from Organization > Video Backups > Backup to NAS
This will display all the cameras in the same organizations, so you can edit the camera profiles .

Edit Video Backups
Backing up video footage to a Network Attached Storage (NAS) ensures that your recordings are securely stored and easily accessible. By configuring video backup settings, you can manage how video data is preserved or retained based on your storage capacity and security needs.

Enable Backup: Enable or disable video backup to NAS.
Retention Days: Footage older than the specified number of days will be deleted, or earlier if storage becomes full.
SMB Folder Path: Enter the SMB path on the NAS in the format: server-name/shared-folder or IP-address/shared-folder
User Name / Password: Credentials used to access the SMB shared folder.
Note
If video backup is disabled, existing footage on the NAS is not deleted automatically. you must remove it manually from the NAS.
If the SMB folder path is changed, footage in the old path is not deleted or copied to the new location automatically.
Each camera supports video backup to either NAS or NVS, not both. If both are configured, the later setup will fail. Disable one before enabling the other.
